2 Day Trip!
Day 1 a boxed lunch is enjoyed on the bus, arriving in Janesville to stroll the beautiful
Rotary Botanical Gardens, a 20-acrebotanic showcase with over 24 different garden styles and
4,000 plant varieties.
We’ll visit the Lincoln-Tallman House, an Italianate style mansion where
Abraham Lincoln was a guest and the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum, showcasing
Pauline Pottery and the largest collection of Pickard China in the country.
Time permitting, we’ll browse a few downtown boutiques before
a private dinner at an Irish Pub.
1) Reuben (tender, slow-cooked corned beef, sauerkraut, & WI Swiss
topped with Pot O' Gold sauce on toasted marble rye ~ OR ~
2) Rachel (turkey breast & WI Swiss topped with house slaw on grilled marble ~ OR ~
3) Cobb Salad (romaine lettuce with layers of bacon, hard-boiled egg, chopped chicken,
tomato, & Gorgonzola crumbles
Our hotel has a pool and full-bar for socializing, including breakfast.
Day 2 takes us to Janesville’s widely known K&W Greenery, a nearly 2 acre
indoor greenhouse. Then we’re off to Fort Atkinson to The Fireside!

Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad: Fresh Cauliflower and Broccoli Buds, Red Onion, Dried Cranberries, Grated Cheddar Cheese,
Jones Cherry-wood Smoked Bacon Chips, and Pine Nuts folded into Creamy Mayo Vinaigrette and presented on flowering Kale.
with freshly baked breads from The Fireside Artisan Bakery.
Chicken Monterey: Skinless Breast of Chicken, dipped in egg, lightly breaded with Panko Crumbs, sautéed to a golden brown,
topped with a blend of Spinach, Artichoke, Parmesan, Monterey Jack, and Cream Cheese, finished with Jarlsberg Swiss Cheese
and presented on an Irish Mustard Sauce. Served with Yukon Gold Potato Wedges and Fresh Julienne Vegetables.
Pecan Turtle Ball Sundae: Homemade Vanilla Bean Custard rolled in Roasted Ground Pecans served on Chocolate Sauce and
striped with Caramel. Garnished with an Almond Lace Wand dipped in Chocolate. Coffee, Tea and Milk
